Responsibilities & RequirementsThe Environmental Service Worker II position may include, but is not limited to:
Follow verbal and written safety guidelineso Perform required cleaning functions for designated work areao Document all daily assignmentso Flexibility due to changes in schedule and/or staff shortageo Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all aspects of the jobo Report any equipment issues to appropriate person or departmento Engage with staff and patients in a professional mannero Record keeping and equipment storageo Regular and Hazardous waste handling as well as operating waste processing equipmento Sterile area cleaning such as the Operating rooms, sterile processing, and MRIo Delivering supplies to correct locationo Operating the laundry equipment as well as changing curtainso Various utility duties as assigned Requirements 1 year of housekeeping and/or service-related fieldo Floor care experienceo Able to lift/push/pull 10lbs to 25lbs dailyo Demonstrate a high level of customer service towards staff and patientso Knowledge of electronic devices (computer, tablets, etc.
)o Ability to read, write, communicate and understand written instructions given in Englisho Ability to stand and walk for long periods of timeo Must have the ability to plan, initiate responsibilities and follow through with the minimum directiono Strong communication skills, attitude, and attendance Preferred QualificationsPreferred
Qualifications:
o High school diploma or GED Recommended Skills Customer Service English Housekeeping Operating Theater Personal Protective Equipment Sterilization Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
