Compensation & Benefits The 2023 salary range for the position is $69,473.

(D) Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurability under the city's vehicle insurance policy.
(E) Remote Pilot of Small Unmanned Aircraft System (drone) license desired but not required.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
(A) Ability to communicate effectively with general public and the media.
(B) Ability to write in clear, concise manner, using proper punctuation, spelling and following proper rules of grammar.
(C) Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with the City officials, department heads, city employees, and members of the local media.
(D) Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
(E) Ability to be on-call seven days a week, twenty-four hours per day, and arrive within an hour in the event an incident occur within the City.
(F) Working knowledge of photography and photography equipment.
(G) Proficient in use of computer programs, including:
Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Publisher; presentation software; photography programs; and movie maker.
(H) Experience with local television production programs and willingness to work with the Miami Valley Cable Council to address municipal issues or share general information.
(I) Ability to speak in public and represent the City at various functions throughout the Miami Valley region.
(J) Ability to design and maintain webpages for general information, as well as specific to City departments.
(K) Experience creating and maintaining professional social media accounts, with experience managing sites for an extended period of time.
(L) General knowledge of all aspects of local government service and working knowledge of public administration.
(M) Knowledge of public records law for the State of Ohio.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
