Welcoming atmosphere from all in leadership positionsRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANTo Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
o Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the company and related entities.
o Review financial and job costs data to identify trends and discrepancies, resolving irregularities.
o Work with management to develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT o Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
o 6
years of progressive accounting experience.
o Proven ability to supervise and develop staff effectively.
o Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office.
o Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
o Familiarity with business taxes (federal and state income, sales/use, payroll).
