General Responsibilities:
The Multimedia Designer is responsible for the design, editing and updating of Evenflo.com and its digital assets including banner ads and other creatives. This individual must have a passion for and past experience in web, digital, and graphic design, as well as in user experience design and conversion. In addition, the web designer is responsible for the design, development and execution of related digital assets, audio/video assets, product feature and benefit demonstrations, social media campaigns, newsletters, emails, surveys and photography. This individual must have experience in the design of mobile friendly website(s) and understands responsive web design. This position reports directly, on-location, to the Marketing Director who oversees all web-based strategy, communication and marketing initiatives undertaken by Evenflo.
Key Responsibilities
o Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather, resize, edit and upload images and videos to Evenflo.com and its retailer sites, based on company design guidelines and standards
o Collaborate with IT department to communicate back-end functionality changes to websites
o Update Evenflo.com (and its sister websites) via the internal content management system
o Design and add webpages to Evenflo.com and its sister websites
o Manage design changes to the sites via direct editing and publishing based on brand's style sheets and guidelines
o Proactively work with product managers to anticipate, design, and update website to ensure latest content is live and remove outdated contents
o Create websites for the company integrating audio and video using HTML
o Create banner ads to support product launches
o Collaborate with brand to source photography and other creative assets
o Ensure holistic execution of brand assets on time, on budget and on equity
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Web Design; 6-8 years of professional experience
Required Technical Competencies
o Existing online portfolio up to the design standards of Evenflo
o Experience working within a marketing team
o Demonstrated success in working with project owners and feedback cycles under tight deadlines
o A strong understanding of adaptive web design, information architecture, usability principles, mobile advertising and all aspects included in building and maintaining a website
o Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, flash and other design tools
o High proficiency in HTML5, CSS and responsive web design
o Experience with JavaScript
o Experience with web content management systems, Ektron Web Content Management (WCM) System is preferred
o Experience editing audio and video
o Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices
o Understanding of web based analytics tools and how to compile and disseminate reports within an organization
o Understanding of how to use web based analytics to make improvements to website content and structure
o Experience with project management tracking tools (Basecamp, Redmine, etc.) is preferred
o Experience with source control management software (SVN, GIT, TFS, etc.) is preferred
o Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
