Responsibilities:
The Senior CAE/Analysis/Product Engineer is the primary Computer Aided Engineering resource within Evenflo. This person is responsible for development and continuous improvement of the CAE capability. This person may also manage product platforms within a category, lead multiple engineering projects for product improvements and cost reductions as assigned by the Engineering Manager. This individual is responsible for ECs (Engineering Changes), Bills of Material, product Safety and Regulatory Compliance and acts as the Design Responsible Engineer for their product category. This role is hands-on, and activities range from CAD modeling, CAE analysis, drawing updates and review of assembly processes at the plant to project scheduling, product cost management, and validation testing. Domestic and International travel may be required.
Examples of Typical Activities:
o CAE (model mesh, mold flow, simulated crash analysis, FEA, material properties characterization, model correlation)
o CAD (Model creation, Assembly creation, complex surfacing, and mechanism design)
o Product improvements (design, assembly, function, and cost) of the products within the category.
o Plastic parts design, assembly design and engineering methods, and design efficiency.
o Work with tooling engineering to resolve production issues on injections molds.
o Work with manufacturing facilities to coordinate tool changes and timing to minimize impact to production.
o Serve as Design Responsible Engineer on projects, to include CAD modeling, prototype design, and testing
o Project management, including scheduling, product cost, budget & project reporting
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - 5-10 years experience
Required Technical Competencies
o Ability to conceptualize and bring to life innovative solutions to design problems
o Computer Proficiency with Solid Modeling (Pro E preferred), MRP Systems (Baan) and MS Office Suite
o Proficient with CAE software (Hypermesh, Radioss,LS Dyna,or Ansys, moldex3D) including application and interpretation of results.
o Understanding of Plastics and Mechanism Design
o Demonstrated understanding of Engineering Change process, Bill of Material generation and cost management.
o Proficient in Project Management including scheduling, and status reporting
o Design for Manufacturability and Assembly
o Mechanical Aptitude with ability to build prototypes and mock ups in a workshop environment.
Desired Secondary Competencies
o Demonstrated experience with Consumer Product Design
o Familiarity with Production Operations, to include cost-reduction and problem resolution
o Familiarity with Quality Tools & Techniques (FMEAs, Structured Problem Solving, DOEs, etc)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
