User Interface Designer
Our client is a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions designed specifically for professionals in the legal, risk management, corporate, government, law enforcement, accounting, and academic markets.
They are looking for a User Interface Designer experienced in the design of complex business systems and software products. You will be collaborating with dedicated business and engineering teams to develop best of breed products for the Financial market. This will require transforming complex data, workflow processes, and end-user requirements into functional and innovative web-based interfaces and data visualization designs.
Designs will be storyboarded and iterated using wireframes with follow through to HTML ready prototypes in a collaborative and user-focused environment with business, product and technical stakeholders.
The designer must have the necessary coding and visual design skills to convert wireframes into HTML and CSS based prototypes for review sessions with internal stakeholders.
Additional scripting experience such as JavaScript and jQuery is desirable for the position. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and its varying methodologies is necessary for success.
Visual/graphic design experience along with a strong aesthetic design sense is necessary.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Interaction Design, Product/Usability Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or related field & experience.

years of interaction design experience in:
- Building of wireframe and web based prototypes using HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery
- Applicable design and development tools (or equivalents) - Dreamweaver, Fireworks/Photoshop, Axure, Visio
- Complex & transactional based application interface design
- Business process and workflow modeling
- Visual design or a strong aesthetic sensibility
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication / presentation skills and an ability to express complex technical concepts to non-technical peersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
