Responsibilities:
Providing server application production support and front line support to the Business Units within the company.
Application support will include a combination of application monitoring and management, process automation, support of application remediation initiatives, support of transition projects and troubleshooting/problem resolution.
Work closely with deployment teams performing activities related to system implementation, upgrades, and installation of system software components.
Closely monitor incident queues and requests for timely response to engagements.
Work closely with Application Support; respond to business requirements and implement enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
Configure and administer Java Application Servers like WebLogic, WebSphere, and Tomcat on heterogeneous platforms (UNIX, Linux and Windows).
Lead the support of production service requests, performing routine administration, and supporting hardware and software infrastructure.
Provide on call support
Lead major technical project design, engineering and integration efforts and deploys complex code
Determines feasibility of customer requirements and designs solutions, builds and integrates the implementation Participates in development and evolution of architecture.
Supports multiple integration projects in the middleware space, troubleshooting middle-tier issues and assisting developers on infrastructure related issues.
Hands-on support of all components of Oracle Fusion Middleware including the Weblogic App server and related Oracle Databases.
Implement monitoring tools and techniques for Oracle Fusion Middleware components, particularly SOA and OSB services.
Requirements:
6
years experience as an Administrator J2EE AppServers like WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat administration on Linux/Unix platforms.
Significant knowledge and technical understanding of O/S and network technologies.
Knowledge of programming languages, such as: Unix Shell, PERL scripting and C/C+
or Java, .Net programming languages, is a plus.
3 years of demonstrated experience with Oracle SOA Suite / Fusion Administration
Experience with tuning work managers, data sources & JVMs on Weblogic server
Experience with Oracle SOA environments with high availability and DREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
