Our company was founded in 1947 as an engineering and development firm. Early projects involved preparation of test and technical reports. Industry's need for professionally produced documentation became apparent, and soon O'Neil & Associates was specializing in product support information. Over the years, we continued to expand and develop our technical writing, technical illustrating, parts cataloging, and information engineering staff and processes. In addition, we welcomed the rapidly evolving publishing technologies available to manage and distribute information.
Today, O'Neil & Associates is in a position of leadership as a developer of product support information. We serve customers worldwide from our corporate headquarters building in Dayton, Ohio. To maximize customer service, we also have staff located near various customers' sites.
Essential Duties of Position
Highly motivated individual needed to manage provisioning/RPSTL efforts. Serve as the main interface for the effort with the customer. Coordinate vendor contacts for component breakdown information. Control provisioning and RPSTL workflow process.
Interface with customer or Government representatives, as required, during length of project. Work closely with Program/Project Manager and/or Marketing/Sales, interpreting contractual specifications, engineering drawings, reports, and other data to produce technical documentation price quote for customer. Coordinate production of illustrated parts catalogs and related spare parts documents to comply with military or commercial requirements. Collect and compiles data used in parts catalogs as required. Obtain information from engineering drawings, bills of material, ECNs, ECPs, EOs, vendors and other available sources. Compile vendor code lists. Skilled at preparation and compilation of parts lists and source materials using computer software to develop artwork and final copy. Check review copy and artwork for technical accuracy.
Attend provisioning and/or start-of work conferences and customer meetings as required.
Experience Required
o Knowledge of the process required to create provisioning and RPSTLs.
o Prefer three-five years experience in the logistics or provisioning area.
o Prior military experience preferred but not necessary.
o Computer literacy a must - knowledge of SLIC or similar logistics software helpful.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
