Duration: Contract 3 Months on w2 only

Network Support / Network Engineer / Network System Support / LAN/WAN Engineer / Network Security / Security / Network Admin / Network Administrator / System Support
Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
1. Strong carrier management and WAN troubleshooting experience 2. 6
years' experience with telecommunications infrastructure, technologies and services (LAN, WAN, Voice, and Security). 3. Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner; gather and evaluate data effectively; demonstrate superior attention to detail. 4. Strong communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; demonstrate group presentation skills; actively participates in meetings. Writes clearly and informatively; present numerical data clearly and effectively; able to read and interpret complex written information. 5. Quality-focused; looks for ways to improve processes and promote quality in the products and services provided; demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all areas of responsibility. 6. Strong understanding of hands on data center support.
General Knowledge and Technical Skills: Technical certifications, strong knowledge and experience of the following network, voice and security technologies, protocols and services:
Required Education and Experience 1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. 2. Relevant industry certifications are a plus. 3. A solid understanding of complex global networks: WAN, LAN, Data Center network architecture. 4. Experience working in a global operational network team is strongly desired. 5. Posses a solid understanding of the technologies, communications protocols, OSI Model. 6. Experience supporting large scale Enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructures using Cisco hardware. 7. Experience supporting data centers.
