Position
Summary:
The Evenflo Associate Product Engineer is responsible to assist with and manage new product design projects to schedule and quality targets and to provide functional input for new product development with the ultimate goal of growing the business. The Associate Product Engineer will work with Marketing to define customer requirements and will identify and implement product design, material and process to meet product requirements. In addition to new product design, the Associate Product Engineer is responsible to identify suitable strategies for product improvements and cost reductions. The Associate Product Engineer is responsible to stay current with new market needs through interaction with Field Sales and Marketing.
Work with internal project team which consists of quality, regulatory, packaging, molding operations, manufacturing, marketing, and sales. Lead the project and make sure all functions agree with the direction of the design. Gain concurrence and make sure deliverables are progressing and being met.
Oversee the launch plan(s); ensure that all the requirements are being met so the product can go to market.
Responsible for sustainability of current products including problem resolution and corrective action as required to manage issues.
Responsible for development of engineering change notices (ECN).
Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for designs of new products.
Create Bills of Materials (BOM).
Work with tooling to confirm feasibility.
Update management on a regular basis on project status. Identify what is falling behind and what assistance is needed from management to move process forward.
Evaluate Regulatory requirements and coordinate test requirements / specifications with Product Integrity and Quality Assurance. Oversee test and validation plans.
Identify the resources needed for capital expenses.
Travel to manufacturing facility (in US and overseas) to evaluate products and potential production concerns.
Stay up to date on regulations regarding product lines.
Ensure that the products meet regulatory controls.
Manage external design companies responsible for the day to day design work of new products.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
